Who is George Noroian?
George grew up in a family business in California’s Central Valley. Those early experiences taught him a lot about what works and what doesn’t work in business. He pursued a broad range of studies in college and worked in a variety of organizations and management roles. Since George started Giant Leap 15 years ago, he has worked with hundreds of business owners and managers in growing their businesses profitably.
George helps his clients think through the day-to-day challenges their businesses face and acts as a sounding board in finding solutions. He also helps them create longer-term plans for their eventual succession and exit from their business, whether that be through family or management buyout, or sale to a third party.
Giant Leap’s clients range from small start-ups to large concerns, most of which are owner operated. Most of the companies we work with are located on the west coast of the U.S. and Canada.

Why the Name Giant Leap?
Innovation in the 1960s was dominated by the space race, which culminated in the first moon landing on July 20, 1969. On that day, Neil Armstrong uttered what has become one of the most famous phrases in the English language – “That’s one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.”
Growing up in the space age, I have been inspired by the passion, curiosity, drive and commitment to excellence that represents the best of the U.S. space program. I have chosen the name Giant Leap for my consultancy because I believe that it is through taking small, meaningful steps — which culminate in giant leaps — that people create strong businesses and thriving communities.
